Henan-ware tea bowls. China. Song period (960 - 1279). Glazed stoneware, Henan ware. The term Henan ware is used to describe tea bowls made in Northern China. Unlike Jian ware, for example, the forms and decorations used in Henan ware differ considerably. Westendorp bequest.

    Theekom van steengoed, aan de binnenzijde bedekt met een zwart glazuur met goudbruine vlekken. De buitenzijde met een blauwgroen glazuur. De onderzijde van de kom is ongeglazuurd. Een barst in de rand.
