Tackle-board, sledge and top for making rope

A ropeyard or ropery comprises a spinning wheel for pre-twisting strands of string, a sledge for twisting five strands together, and a top to prevent the strands from tangling during twisting. This miniature ropeyard was once the equipment used by a modelmaker.
