Stand. Macassar ebony and walnut, inlaid with boxwood and brass. Amsterdam, E.J. van Wisselingh and Co, 1903, designed by C.A. Lion Cachet. The stand was made to support a large illustrated book on Rembrandt. The letters RVR (Rembrandt van Rijn) are carved twice in the top rail.
