Mogelijk een vrouw van Indiase en Europese oorsprong uit Pulicat.

Dancx reisde in 1676 naar Oost-Indië. De tekeningen die hij tijdens deze reis maakte zijn gebruikt voor de illustraties uit: Nieuhof, Joan. Zee en lantreize, door verscheide gewesten van Oostindien (…). Amsterdam: Anna Philips Goulet (weduwe Jacob van Meurs), 1682. De hier getekende vrouw lijkt op de vrouw (kleding en haardracht komt overeen) op de prent tussen p. 112 en 113 in die publicatie. De vrouw op die prent verbeeldt ‘Een Mestice vrouw’ uit Pulicat, volgens de bijhorende tekst zijn ‘mestyçen’ kinderen van Europese en Indiase ouders.
