Young man standing
Jacques de Gheyn (II), 1598 - 1608
This young man was probably once part of a larger drawing. Art dealers often cut such sheets into pieces and sold them as separate studies for a greater profit. This sheet was unfortunately reduced at the lower edge, leaving the boy legless!
