Spacesuit Trousers

Iris de Leeuw, 1966 - 1967

The legs of these trousers can be unzipped and are interchangeable, if the sizes match. Iris de Leeuw designed them in the 1960s for ‘fine “kommunikations” activities in the street.’ People could interact with each other by swapping trouser legs. The trousers are designed for everyone, regardless of gender.
