Schetsboek bestaande uit 60 bladen met voornamelijk studies van Afrikanen en Afrikaanse motieven zoals decoratieve patronen, ornamenten, muziekinstrumenten, planten, dieren en bloemen. Een deel van deze studies is gebruikt voor de map etsen De Goudkust en Nigeria (1935).
