Bladen 1(V) t/m 30(V) zijn blanco. Shilling heeft in Engeland gewerkt op de plaatsen waar John Constable (1776-1837) veel werkte rond de rivier Stour. De annotatie voorin het schetsboek laat zien dat Shilling zich vermoedelijk verdiept heeft in het leven en werk van Constable.
