Proserpina staand in een landschap, haar hand uitgestrekt naar Ascalaphus in de gedaante van een uil. Ascalaphus ontdekte Proserpina toen zij stiekem granaatappels stond te plukken, waarop zij hem voor straf veranderde in een uil.
