Lady William Henry Cavendish Bentinck, geboren Lady Mary Acheson, dochter van de Earl of Gosford, 1787-1843. Lord William Bentinck trouwde in 1803 met Mary Acheson, dochter van de Earl of Gosford. Na de val van Napoleon verbleef het echtpaar enige tijd in Rome. Daar maakte Ingres twee tekeningen van haar alleen en één samen met haar man.
