      A national clicque of gem robbers, familiar with the movement and sale of large jewels, is believed responsible/ for robbing Bernard Landau (above) New York juwelry salesman of gems worth $100.000 in San Francisco hotel. Landau, after extreme caution in forwarding the gems by express and placing them in safety deposit boxes, had the gems in his hotel room to show some prospective purchasers, when two men entered, bound, gagged and robbed him.
