Portret van een man, mogelijk Reijnier Pauw. Reijnier Pauw was president van de Hoge Raad. Kniestuk, staand, iets naar rechts gewend, bij een tafel waarop een zwarte hoed met brede rand ligt. Handschoenen in de rechterhand, de linkerhand in de zij. Het pendant met het portret van Clara Alewijn is in 1906 bij een brand verloren gegaan.
