Explanatory note
Obreens toeschrijving van dit model aan de fabriek van Regout in Maastricht wordt nog door geen enkel bewijsmateriaal gestaafd, noch zijn er vier modellen gevonden zoals in de catalogus beschreven. Het model door P. Schuijt jr. in 1832 gemaakt en werden ter beoordeling door een commissie van constructeurs (P. Schuijt jr., P. Glavimans Jz. en C. Soetermeer.) naar Rotterdam gezonden. De houten en koperen vattingen die in de archiefstukken worden genoemd, ontbreken. Met inachtneming van enkele kleine wijzigingen werd zij goedgekeurd.
