Explanatory note

  • Deze staat van prent voor het eerst ook gebruikt in: Guicciardini, Lodovico. Beschryvinghe van alle de Neder-landen, anderssins ghenoemt Neder-Duytslandt (…). Amsterdam: Willem Janszoon Blaeu, 1612. Hierna is deze prent tot 1648 nog gebruikt in latere uitgaven van deze publicatie, uitgegeven door Blaeu en daarna door Janssonius. Uit welke uitgave het huidige exemplaar precies komt is niet na te gaan.
