Design for the Decoration of a Porcelain Vase

Anatole-Alexis Fournier, 1907

The decoration is designed for the Sèvres porcelain manufactory. The model of the vase was known as ‘vase d’Annecy’, and an inscription states that it would be about 130 cm tall. The softly flowing naturalistic motifs are typical of Sèvres porcelain from the Art Nouveau period.
