Founded in 1946, the Dutch Association for Sexual Reform (NVSH) focused on sexual education for citizens. With more than 200,000 members, the association enjoyed its greatest outreach in the 1960s. The association adapted to the changing times. The groovy teach-in offered, in addition to expert speakers, beat music, jazz, films, slides and TV. The text and image on the poster were crystal clear: a couple (a man and a woman) making love and the word sex.
