Explanatory note

  • Aan deze prent werkte zowel Giulio als Domenico Campagnola. Giulio was verantwoordelijk voor het landschap rechts, van hem wordt een tekening met deze compositie bewaard in het Louvre, Parijs. Domenico voegde ongeveer tien jaar later de figuren van de herders toe (zie documentatie).
