Staande vrouw met een geopend boek in de hand. Zij draagt een geruite spencer zonder mouwen op een japon met korte pofmouwen en roze rok met sleepje. Doorzichtig schort. Accessoires: parasol met franjes, hoed met kleine rand en lange sluier, lange handschoenen. De prent is een reproductie naar No. 32 uit het modetijdschrift Modes et Manières du Jour, 1798-1808.
