Mating
Aat Veldhoen, 1997-10 - 1998-12
As early as the 1960s, Veldhoen sold Rotaprints from his cargo bike with the recurring theme of a couple making love, or ‘mating.’ He also captured the theme in Polaroids. The artist could not resist drawing and scratching. Even in the emulsion of a milky white failed Polaroid, he quickly scratched another ‘mating.'
