‘Marineland of the Pacific’

Ed van der Elsken, 1960 - 1966

Van der Elsken spent two months in the United States, first on the west coast, then, via Mexico, in New York. Many of the American photographs that ended up in this book were devoted to attractions and entertainment: beach scenes, Disneyland, Las Vegas, and ‘Marineland of the Pacific’ near Los Angeles, then the world’s largest aquarium.
