Explanatory note

  • De serie 'Les Diableries' verbeeldt scènes van het dagelijkse leven in de hel, bedoeld als moralistisch en satirisch commentaar op het autoritaire bewind van Napoleon III in Frankrijk. De taferelen werden minutieus uit klei gefabriceerd en vervolgens met een stereocamera gefotografeerd.
