Theebus met deksel, van beschilderd porselein. De bus is zeshoekig en geheel bedekt met een bruine glazuur. De zes velden zijn afwisselend beschilderd met scenes met Chinese stijlfiguren en met twee vogels op een tak, beide in goud. De bus is gemerkt.

• At the end of 1936, the Margarethe and Franz Oppenheimer couple were forced to flee from Berlin to Vienna due to increasing anti-Jewish measures. Just before the occupation of Austria in 1938, they had to flee again and eventually reached the United States. In these years they lost a large part of their possessions, either by robbery or because they were forced to sell. Recently (October 2019), the Minister of Education, Culture and Science decided to return the porcelain to the heirs. It has been agreed with them to show the porcelain here for another period pending the further course of this case.
