Spring Blossom

The spring blossom in this painting consists of words hanging from the branches of a tree, brightly contrasted against a night blue background. Shimmering through them is a Dutch men’s bicycle. Anyone who begins to read the words will soon notice that Daniëls describes places that have a meaning in life in an abstract way, a mind map that everyone can fill in with their own experiences and perception of time.
