Krijgsgevangenenkamp Stalag IVB in Mühlberg aan de Elbe

In de ziekenbarak tekende Van Hooff deze karikaturale tekening van een overvloedig kerstdiner, om zijn goede humeur niet te verliezen. Twee mannen dragen een overvolle etensketel. In die periode kwamen er veel Amerikaanse krijgsgevangenen het kamp binnen na het Ardennenoffensief, dat medio december '44 begon.
