Explanatory note

  • Een eerdere staat van deze prent is gebruikt in verschillende atlassen van Hondius en Janssonius. Huidige staat van prent is gebruikt in verschillende atlassen van De Wit, uit welke atlas deze prent precies komt is niet na te gaan. Het is bekend dat na het overlijden van De Wit een deel van zijn platen is overgegaan naar Pieter Mortier (I), en later naar Covens & Mortier. Zij hebben een latere staat van deze prent uitgegeven.
