Informal Women’s Kimono

The patterns on this kimono were applied to the fabric using stencil printing. This new way of dyeing fabric was simple, quick, and cost efficient. The geometric patterns in a contemporary art-deco style were ideally suited for the rapid production of prêt-à-porter-kimonos.

    Informele vrouwe nkimono met een geometrisch patroon over het hele vlak van lijnen, rechthoeken, stippen en driehoeken. Okerkleurige zijde met versiering in stencil-druk (meisen) in rood, geel, zwart en blauw. Voering van witte, zalmroze en rode katoen.
