Description
Ovale handspiegel, bestaande uit twee delen, die met elkaar zijn verbonden door middel van een scharnier en daardoor kan worden openklapt. De eigenlijke spiegel bevindt zich aan de voorzijde van de buitenkant. De koperen achterzijde is gedecoreerd met een voorstelling in email en gevat in een zilveren montuur. Tegen een zwarte achtergrond zijn verschillende ornamentale versieringen aangebracht, waaronder vogels, vlinders, bloemen en draperieën. Centraal is in een vierkante cartouche een jongeman (Adonis?) afgebeeld, die gebogen staat boven een fontein.
