Entry

Wooden half bracket model of the starboard side of a three-masted ship, mounted on a rectangular wooden backboard.

The side of the ship is depicted by ribbands attached to frame moulds. The side above the wale is planked. Ten recessed gun ports are situated on one continuous deck. The sheer rises towards the stern. One wale and a sheer rail are indicated. The bow features an empty beakhead and a knighthead. The stern has a round tuck. The hollow counter and the taffrail are closed. There is no indication of the presence or shape of a quarter gallery. Below the stern a straight, square-headed rudder is indicated. The hull is sharply S-bottomed and painted white below the waterline. The keel drops slightly towards the stern. The position of three masts and the bowsprit is shown in a truncated form.

Scale unknown.
