Entry

Polychromed wooden half bracket model of the starboard side of a single-masted ship, mounted on a rectangular wooden backboard.

The side of the ship is depicted by ribbands attached to frame moulds. Seven gun ports are indicated by white frames indicating one continuous deck. The sheer rises towards both ends. One wale is indicated, painted black. The stern has a round tuck and a hollow counter. Below the stern a straight, square-headed rudder is indicated. The hull is sharply S-bottomed, trimmed by the stern, and painted white below the waterline. The keel drops towards the stern. The position of a single mast and the bowsprit is shown in a truncated form. The mainmast is raked considerably.

Scale (derived) approx. 1:40.
