Pierre Louvet, 1763

This five-course guitar presents a two-piece front of medium grain spruce with ebonised bridge and moustaches. The original rose is missing. The back (in two pieces) and ribs are maple. The centre of back is striped with a line of ebony. An ivory turned ivory button for the shoulder strap is set into the bottom block. The label reads 'Louvet a Paris 1763'.
