In 1798 schilderde Boilly (1761-1845) een bijeenkomst van kunstenaars in het atelier van de schilder Isabey. Twee jaar later maakte hij een groepsportret in een ovaal, dat zich nu in de collectie van het Musée Camondo bevindt.
