Explanatory note

  • Titel op object geeft onjuiste informatie. Het afgebeelde mausoleum is van shogun Tokugawa Ienobu in Zōjō-ji in Shibapark. In Uenopark (ook in Tokyo) staan mausoleums van twee andere Tokugawa shoguns: Tokugawa Yoshimune en Tokugawa Yoshinobu. Tokugawa Ienobu (1661-1712) was de zesde shogun van de Tokugawa dynastie. Zijn graftombe in Zōjō-ji werd in 1712 gebouwd en in 1945 vernietigd tijdens een bombardement op Tokyo.
