    Op onderste helft van ovale plaquette staat de portretbuste van man met hoofd iets naar rechts gewend. Hij heeft lang krullend haar. Hij draagt een harnas waarboven een halsdoek zichtbaar is. Hierover heen draagt hij een onderscheidingsteken aan een lint. Het portret is goudkleurig en ingekleurd met rood: De achtergrond is zwart en het opschrift op voor- en keerzijde is goudkleurig. Randschrift: Voorzijde: FRANC. ETIENNE DE LORRAINE. Keerzijde: Grand Duc de Toscane / Né le 8 Decembre 1708. Bovenop draaibaar draagoog.
