Flintlock pistol
Gerrit de Oude Penterman, 1695 - 1700
The Pentermans were a family of gunmakers who played a leading role in firearms production in both Utrecht and Leeuwarden. An unusual feature of this pistol are its hidden screws. To disassemble the weapon, the rounded mask on the butt cap must be removed, as this conceals the first screw.
