Mathieu Lauweriks, 1912
This is one of the few presentation drawings from the estates of Lauweriks and Zwollo. It features a fully developed design of a necklace against a black background. Large jewellery houses still commission drawings like this for new collections, partly to show to customers but also to create an archival record of the jewels they have made.
