Christus loopt over het water naar een vissersboot met apostelen; de golven dragen hem. Petrus loopt naar hem toe, maar zinkt. Christus trekt hem aan de hand uit het water. De overige apostelen blijven in de boot. Onder de voorstelling een Latijns vers uit Mat 14:30-31.
