This large dish with a striking yellow ground is painted with all kinds of household objects, including a tea table, a garniture of vases and an earthenware fish strainer, plus brooms, paintings and bird cages. It looks like an advertisement for the stock of a shop! Decorations with many individual objects are also known from Asian art. Dishes painted with such ornament probably served as models for this plate.
