Cephalus maakt zich bekend aan Procris

Cephalus stelt zijn echtgenoot Procris op de proef en tracht haar in vermomming te verleiden. Het lukt hem bijna want Procris heeft reeds haar borsten ontbloot. Op dat moment neemt Cephalus zijn masker af en laat zien wie hij werkelijk is.
