Brush Rest

The brush rest in the shape of a mountain ridge consists of patterns of rocks and waves and five-clawed dragons. The hollows between the dragons’ heads are for resting the brushes. The five-clawed dragon decoration is frequently found on the objects produced in the imperial workshop.
