‘These are the militiamen of Saint Barbara of Eindhoven’ is inscribed in Middle Dutch on the ring of this badge. At ceremonies, the guardsmen would have worn badges such as these on their clothes. The tower is the symbol of Saint Barbara, the guild’s patron saint.

    Draagteken van zilver (schuttersinsigne), gegoten, bestaande uit een cirkelvormige rand met de inscriptie: DIT SI DIE SCUTS SACTA BARBARA VAN EIJNDOVEN. Hierop is een toren bevestigd, het symbool van de H. Barbara. Aan de achterzijde drie ringen.
