Babsi: ‘My mother dressed really strangely when she was younger, in Fong Leng-like clothes, loads of colours, loads of make-up. I was really embarrassed by her back then. I told her I wanted to be like grandma when I grew up: a respectable woman. These days I also dress strangely, which she likes.’
