Assignat van vijftig sols, serie 1237 uitgegeven 23 mei 1793

Eenzijdig bedrukte assignat; vlak, aan boven- en zijkanten begrensd door banden verdeeld in compartimenten met bladerornament en opschriften; in het centrale vlak: opschrift "Domaines nationaux / Assignat / de cinquante sols, / payable au porteur" boven handtekening en altaar met daarop waardeaanduiding, waarnaast zitten links vrouw met half beschreven tafel in hand, en rechts vrouw met roedebundel en weegschaal in handen; in het vlak zijn twee reliefstempels geplaatst: eerste stempel: gevleugelde, half naakte jongeman, schrijvend op tafel binnen omschrift; tweede stempel: staande vrouw met zwaard en weegschaal in handen, aan haar voeten boeken.
