Armchair. Elm, gilt. The Hague, 1819, by J.A. Schick and Co. The armchair forms part of a set of furniture designed and made by the firm of Schick for a room in Noordeinde Palace in The Hague. The silk upholstery with the arms of the Netherlands is of later date. On loan from H.R.H. Princess Juliana of the Netherlands.
