Two armchairs and a sofa. Beech, upholstered in tapestry. The chairs: Paris, c. 1750 - 1760, by Jean-Baptiste Gourdin. The sofa modern. De tapestry: Paris, Manufacture Royale des Gobelins, c. 1772. The tapestry upholstery was made for the Prince de Condé for the Chambre Rose at the Palais Bourbon in Paris. The original seat furniture to which it was applied does not survive.

    Armstoel, deel van een ameublement, vervaardigd van wit met goud beschilderd beukenhout en bekleed op een los raam met tapisserie dat op een rode gedamasceerde grond boeketten, samengebonden door linten met strikken, vertoont. De voorpoten, voorzitregel, bovendorpel en stijlen van het rugraam dragen gestoken blad- en bloemmotieven. De armleggers met kussentjes eindigen in voluten; de overhoeks geplaatse S-vormige poten eindigen in een acanthusblad. Gemerkt: I. Gourdin. Zie: BK-16655-a/b,c,e,f,g.
