Gezicht op het Piazza San Marco te Venetië met links het Dogepaleis. Op het plein vinden festiviteiten plaats. Acrobaten vormen een menselijke piramide. De Doge van Venetië kijkt toe vanaf zijn troon op het balkon van het Dogenpaleis.
