Satirische scène in "the Mall", Buckingham House op de achtergrond. Het elegant publiek, gekleed volgens de mode van 1755, wordt overvallen door een regenbui. Op de voorgrond vallen twee dames op de grond, een man van de garde snelt toe. Rechtsvoor zitten twee dames te schuilen in een wachthuisje.
