Gerard Wessel, 1995
Wessel photographed Alfred van Dijk (28, doorman at the Richter and freelance bodyguard) and Myrthe (24, entertainer) at an edition of the Wasteland Fetish Party. Alfred: ‘It was a great evening. I’ve worked at the Richter for two years and I’ve seen a lot, but this party was really extreme.’ Myrthe: ‘There was a very mixed public, from Hell’s Angels to transvestites. There was no tension at all, except sexual tension of course, ha ha.’
