Dit is de eerste monografie over beeldend kunstenaar Tirzo Martha (Willemstad, Curacao 1965). Deze omvangrijke publicatie omvat een intrigerende compilatie van zijn kunstwerken, performances en installaties. Martha wordt gedreven door een diep engagement met de wereld om hem heen, in het bijzonder met Curaçao en het Caribische Gebied. Zijn werk is veelzijdig, kritisch, politiek en maatschappelijk geladen.
