Xingzhong Passes the Highest Imperial Examination

This print depicts one of the miracles that Guanyin performed. Thanks to a good deed by his mother, Xingzhong was blessed by Guanyin: he passed the imperial examination and returned home with this honour. Guanyin appears at the upper left, like a goddess, in the clouds. Xingzhong is the front horseman.
