Jan Toorop (mentioned on object), 1904

Toorop designed the cover of the catalogue of a survey exhibition of his work at the art gallery Frans Buffa & Zonen in Amsterdam. Taking centre stage on the cover is his daughter Charley playing the violin. She studied at the conservatory in Paris for some time. Charley later also became a famous painter.
